SUMMER ROAD TRIP SCHEDULE!
Our church staff is currently preparing ministry plans for 2010. As a part of that process, we've chosen a theme for next year. It's based on Matthew 5:14, "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden." Our purpose as a church is to connect people with God and others. If we're to do that, our church must become a prominent influence in our community. It must become a city on a hill.
I am excited about what the Lord is doing in our church and I believe 2010 will be a critical year for our congregation. We'll spend much of 2009 getting ready for the ministry that God is commissioning us to undertake in 2010. This summer will be a critical time of preparation for all of our ministries. We'll be providing training in virtually every ministry area to make sure we have the leadership we need to serve in the year to come. Take a look at the summer schedule that's now available and see what ministry training opportunities interest you. If you didn't pick up a schedule last Sunday at church, you can visit here to find a complete schedule. We'll also have schedules available throughout the summer at church. Most of the training takes place on Wednesday night at 6:00 following our weekly Wednesday night meal that begins at 5:00.
Blessings,
David Emmert, Senior Pastor
