Dear Parents,
It’s seems like yesterday we were talking about Y2K. I knew people who stored up food and unplugged their computers. That was ten years ago and a lot has changed since 2000. Today we are still storing up food, but we can’t bring ourselves to unplug our computers. I pray that 2010 begins a new decade of following Jesus and leading our families to do the same. It is my desire to lead families and children to Christ. I pray that God will bless our church and that your family can be a part of that blessing.

This month's parent newsletter topic is handling doubts about faith. Having questions doesn't mean you're a weak Christian; instead, doubts help you evaluate and then own your faith. This newsletter explores ways that parents can help children open up about their deepest questions.
Highlights of this month's issue include:
- Strategies for showing children that doubt and questions are normal and encouraged.
- Insights into how children's thoughts and questions change as they grow.
- Teachable moments that establish the Bible as the final authority for truth.
- Experiences that will help family members explore childlike faith.
- Information and discussion questions about the upcoming movie The Tooth Fairy and the new album from pop singer Katharine McPhee.
Thanks and I hope you have a great new year,
Tommy
